I didn't finish our discussion, # 16-17-18 etc, quite properly
"Cub Fan" said that he had " heard " about local Indians in The Superstitions!
As Had Ole Possum,
I said, that I had bac pac'd in (From N/S/E/W) many times and had never encounted any
They said the they had heard from "sources!"
(Unidentified)
Well!
My "source" & Partner, "Dave, who laughed @ this!!!
IS A NATIVE AMERICA (Ariz)

He IS!
ALSO!
An instructor, For The SPECIAL FORCES at Ft. Benning , six months a yr!
I TRUST HIS WORD!
If you'd like to meet "Dave"
Meet me, when "We", "Doc" & I, hit Arizona !
I'll be glad to introduce you (Or! Anyone) :thumbsup:,
"Dave" lives south of Phoenix, on The Gila Reservation! :wink:

I've got no idea where you're going with this cptbild - nowhere did I imply there were any "hostile" Native Americans in the Superstition Mts - in fact, I explained myself clearly when I mentioned that djui and I were lucky enough to hear 2 folks back in a canyon singing and playing a drum a couple years ago.

I believe you misinterpreted my original response to you.

Yep, I never said "hostile" either. Only Indians I've ever seen where the one's cubbie was talking about. People tell me there are more back there but I've never seen them :)

I too would like to meet with you and your friend when you hit town. You have my number just give a jingle if you lost it PM me. I was with Randy and Paul when the Indians did their little drum accompanied chant at sundown last year at the end of the LDM Rendezvous. We were above them at the paint mine just east of and within sight of the Peralta Trailhead. The pictures I took from that site looking up into the canyon were "flash" as it was too dark without a tripod.

OK guys/gals;
You want to see the "Lost Dutchman's Mine ? Here are the coordinates to the entrance to the high, narrow canyon where the vein is to be found. 33.45.56 N - 111.35.70 W.
Since I can't get there it would be nice is someone would send me pics once they are there, or even a little piece of the vein with a hint of gold in it would be nice too.

What leads you to believe this is where the vein is? Not saying you're not right - just would like to hear the evidence leading to the belief is all.

Thanks for thinking of us AZ guys and sharing the coords.

That area is all closed lode claims ! Probably for a very good reason..........

I will second what Cub asked, Why do say it is in that canyon? Thanks

There are no SF units or groups at Benning, better recheck trusting his word.

I have decided, that I'll withhold my:
Private/Public ;D Information on The Dutchman
Since
Doc & I will out that way
We might as well see where it'll lead us!
I wonder if "He" left any evidence that would prove, if a rich mine were to be found
It would prove...
That it was His Mine?
Personal items, initials, etc
MAYBE, " WE'LL " FIND OUT ? ::)

good question??
