No Car at the Moment, so I'm house Bound till I can find & afford one.

At the Moment waiting on a Price on a fully inspected 2002 Subaru Wagon,

thinking about a Garge kept '99 Blazer, But it's a $2000.00 Gamble No inspection at the Moment.
and if the Subaru falls Through, I have to see if the owner of the Blazer will let me take it to a garage
first, For piece of Mind.

And can only afford a '90's Miata Convertible at the moment.
which I don't really want. especially if it's a stick.
But other then a Fender Bump from a Deer is fully Inspected, Was Garage Kept,
and is only $1000

The Miata sounds cool. Wish I had one...

not allot of room for detecting supplies.
of course I haven't checked the trunk for size.
and only 2 wheel drive. are my other worries.

should be good on gas.

Part of my fleet of vehicles includes a 98 Blazer, dependable and great in the midwest snow. It was udercoated for rust when new, but this past winter rust holes just exploded on it. Almost ALL Blazers out here suffer from severe rust issues. Thank you to our state for using a liquid salt application everytime the word snow was mentioned. If the Blazer checks out ok for rust, it makes a nice vehicle and is not some huge school bus when driving.

Jeff - I know what you mean about white roads in the winter. Keep the underside of the vehicle, wheel wells, and bottoms of doors sprayed out as much as possible in the winter. I had a Subaru for 11 years, and it was eaten alive as Subaru's are known to do. I should have been much more vigilant about spraying out the underside and wheel wells - especially in the winter - and giving her a good wax job at least once in the fall. Now I have a new car and am much more proactive with protection from the elements.

well the problem is , I have absolutely no way to spray wash my car at home.
So I would need to wash it 4 Miles from home
and collect new salt on the way home.

Or hook a 100' + long hose to my kitchen sink :tongue3:
most of the time in the winter I can't park close to my house.

and if you spray in the winter you get ice.
more then once I've had frozen doors after washing the salt from my cars.
