A Wa state story. $1500 buried in a strongbox

A great site for other legends, btw.

I have done so much research into this story and it is 15000 dollars buried in/around the Wynoochee River. The bad part is it is in the National Forest Area. Great storie and how I would love to find this.

I'd heard it was in Nat. Forest land. I figured that made it a no go.

What makes it a no-go is all the hype added on by the author. If the guy lived the way described he wouldn't weigh 250,
he would be skin, bone and muscle with no body fat. Like the Atkins Diet without the beef.

By all the maps that I have seen from Washington State it is right outside of the NF land.

You can metal detect in the National Forest
