This direction 80 varas?
a vara being a 33 inch pace.

In response to several pms and a couple emails.
I realise I was somewhat vague in my earlier response.
I will add this ...
The corner of the stone is pointing,
The O infront of the 80 is the sign for a shaft.
The 80 could be varas, cordels, etc...
and yes the wiggly line is probably the creek.

Calavo,
It's a tough call on this photo due to the reflection......the bottom of the "8" appears to be disconnected....in other words it appears to be an "R" more than an "8".
Understanding this, you may have the word "ORO" which is spanish for gold.
The second "O" appears to be in a diamond shape, which is giving you distance.
The squiggly (lol) line is a symbol for a river/arroyo.
Putting this info together you get..."Follow along the river/arroyo for one league and you will come to gold". This gold may be a mine....a treasure room...maybe both, a mine with a treasure room. There is more information being given to you but this will get you started.
Again, the reflection in the photo makes this a tough call. However, even if this is an actual "8", you still win.
Good luck and Merry Christmas.

At first glance I see the word ORO too.
Maybe the point of rock shows direction?
The squiglely line could mean the path to it.
Interesting 8 means x10. I thought it meant x3, that's vara's. Do try both.
32=V 33=V and 34=V. I have heard it depended on the partculiar dialect of the planter, remember that,!,?.
Merry Christmas! T-minus 34 minutes and counting.
