Looks like one laying down resting. Maybe he has arrived. In the lower right photo, you can see a heavy, black "A" and "J" on the side of his jaw, down low.

Yes it looks like one to me, pretty rough hewn, The ones I have seen had rounded corners and since it was laying down or resting I would venture to say that you may be pretty close to something interesting, perhaps the unfinished portion of a windrose or a windrose may be something near-by for instance two symbols that seem to indicate leaving the area but I wouldn't fall for the trick, The things to look for, they would place carvings in a pattern, triangle, square, rectangle, If so measure between them get the degrees look for corners from 95 feet to 200 feet apart, so many possibilities,

.. i dont see eyes, legs or paw of a frog
.. now i have to investigate about frogs (nest, paw, face, moves & behavior) to be sure
