Spanish or Indian ?

The circles look to perfect and too deep to me to be made by Indians.

Talk about a rush to judgement...

These symbols predate the Spanish by 1500 hundred years, therefore by your inference, the Indian's native to this region, whatsoever, do not have the knowledge or ability to make simple geometric symbols. :icon_scratch:

Native people in all regions of this continent have been making circles for centuries and the inscribed depth has no bearing on their abilities.

Glad you guys liked this article we published. It is a mystery, and no one can or has dated them. We've seen them and photographed them, then wrote up the articles you referenced above. They are unique because of the way they were made and the fact that most of them are on a flat piece of rock near the edge of cliffs. We're still researching this, and will add more info later. Some believe they lead to treasure, specifically Montezuma's Treasure, other believe they were used by Ancestral Peoblans (Anasazi) for religious reasons and viewing the stars. An Argosy Mystery for sure. The trip up the one we photographed (there are more) is HERE Neat off road trip to be sure.
