gypsies

On the corner of my property its always been said that two Gypsies were buried there. Not something you hear to often in Tennessee. My Great grandfather told me this story and I believe he said a former landowner had told him. Supposedly there were a group of gypsies that camped there and two died one night and were buried. Thats about it. Is this just a quaint anecdote or (as I always thought it was) or does anything in that ring a bell with y'all?

Hmm interesting never heard of that.....I live probably about 50 miles south of where that was said to have occured. I wonder where the "Gypsy Colony" was located. Thanks for the information.
