Turtle & Hearts In California

Hello Treasure Experts!

This looks like a classic turtle & heart monument / marker to me but I'd like to hear your thoughts. The turtle appears to have four legs with the front left pointing slightly backwards. There's some type of markings on the top and side of the shell. The hearts lie approx six feet from the turtle's head. The heart on the right seems to be carved from a solid rock coming up from the ground. The heart on the left is "loose". They're situated on a mountainside facing uphill (to the east).

Resize the pix before you post them. It makes a big difference in the speed. if you have trouble sizing them email them to me and I will send them back to you sized for posting.

Do you have a picture of the whole monument as a group?
IE.. back off about 12 or 15 feet and photograph the group as a whole.
BTW ... don't post any location I don't need that and neither does anyone else.
