Last may, a group of us headed out to look for Forrest's treasure. The stars aligned, we were invited to his home by the reporter, and we are referenced in the article. It makes us look a little like yokels, but maybe we are.

Now that was great, I'll be going to Santa Fe in the next couple of days, maybe I could find his treasure. lol

I spent the last 4 days in the Pecos canyon , about 35mi NE of Santa Fe, Nope I didn't Forest's treasure,but I did find a pair of avaitor sunglasses.I don't know how you guys can detect in the mountains, I couldn't go more than about 45 min with out stopping to rest for an hour,the elv was about 8500'+ and the temps in the mid 80's and the oxygen was thin, lol I hope everyone had as nice a labor day week-end as I did.
