Hi Gang! No doubt some of you have heard about the big bust coin caches discovered in upstate New York a couple years ago in the Mowhawk Valley. There were HUNDREDS of silver coins found in (as of today), 18 different caches. Well... Now they are being offered for sale on Ebay! Look under "bust half old fort site" to locate the coins.(Key words are "old fort site") Great pictures of? the beautiful coins. The selling agent is;( metal1 ). You may notice a mark on the coins. That is from the guy who buried them, as a way to protect his treasure. If he saw one show up in a card game or in change somewhere, he would know that some had been discovered, and would probably go check on the remaining caches.? ? ?The caches consisted of early American quarters and halves, 1794-1839, and a good amount of spanish 2reales,4reales and one 8reale, 1773-1842. Some of the coins were counter-stamped! There were only 6 coins that escaped being marked with the various "screwdriver/punch/nail?" tool the hider used. For more info, email me at <[email protected]>. Enjoy!? ?;D
