[FONT=&quot]A rare piece of medieval jewellery has been uncovered by a keen metal detectorist in a Nottinghamshire field. The gold jewellery has been identified by experts as an early medieval gold ring and it is set to be displayed in a museum.

“Set to be displayed in a museum” = forced to be sold to the museum because the Crown owns it, not you, according to the Treasure Act of 1996.
On this side of the pond, if you find it, YOU keep it, accord to the F You Act of 1776.
