I read about a huge gold/quartz nugget that was found near Susanville, CA. Supposed to weigh over 100 pounds. Shaped like a dumbell, the narrowest part broke when the finders attempted to lift it. It was to have been displayed at a World's Fair, but was sank in transport before making it there. Wouldn't mind finding that ship!
