We found some flakes but not enough to make pictures worth posting. Hit above Margret McKinney park on some nice gravel bars, as well as the upper Waddell. Nothing to make note of but still a great day to be out there. Next time maybe we'll go down from M.M. park to give it a go.

Very nice, a little jealous you had the day off. I did okay there a few days ago for under a few hours but it's never anything special there. I'm thinking about driving on the other side of capitol forest and checking out cedar creek. I'll let you know if I have any luck there.

I've thought about Porter cr. and some of the gravel in the Chehalis in that area. Maybe next time?

Trying to find time to go up hwy 12 and spend the day driving the Cispus to scout for some dirty gravel :headbang:

If its the chehalis you are looking to Mike try just down stream of the mouth of the black river closer to the casino but like every gravel bar here in western wa you might have better prospects in the casino with the indians lol.
