Any Civil War Buffs out there to help identify this Tintype??

Hey Guys and Gals,
I was told a long time ago this Tintype was an early photo of Gen. Robert E. Lee so never questioned it. But recently I was told it may not be. And since I'm 99% civil war illiterate, I was hoping for a little assistance. THANKS!!

Yes please see the link posted below the pictures and see if that helps. It is a list of Confederate officers. You might google that name for more pictures as well

I would re-post this in the "what is it section" here and find out who it is first. It may not be Tilghman but they will be able to recognize his rank and maybe get an I.D on him. Would you like the post moved there?
