I was given this set if cast iron andirons after working on a ladies house. I've tried to do some research and turned up nothing. Each one is marked "GYPSY" and the number 3. They have only been lightly wiped off because I didnt want to remove any patina. Any information and help trying to figure out what they are worth would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Gypsy I found this in a google search if it helps, I didn't want to register for the site to see what value they put on them. The set they have are in better shape than yours but it looks like they're 18th century! Don't weld any cracks leave them stock, if they are 18th century that makes them instantly cool in my book, good find.
