From the shape and pour of the bar it appears to be Babbitt metal from one of the many Seattle refineries. The right side has already been chopped off and melted in the hot pot.

Babbitt metal was used in virtually all machinery requiring bearings. Today there are new processes that sometimes exceed the capabilities of plain Babbitt metal but you will still find it used surprisingly modern places - like automotive engine bearings.

There are collectors of old Babbitt metal bars but the value as a collectable on this one is greatly diminished by the simple fact that two inches are already used.

I think this may be the successor company to the one that poured your Babbitt metal bar.
