Before the 1980's mintmarks were individually punched into the dies, so there is great variation in location. There is really no premium for "odd" locations.

sorry, the S looks fake, there seems to be blob on the tail of the S
also, what's up with the surface texture
sure look lake a cast, color. patina seems wrong
I see this often

Nobody fakes a 53s cent! NO ONE!

The coins had a hard life and been exposed to something corrosive and that gave it its rough looking texture.
