Growing up with a family full of railroaders, I have collected and inherited lots of items. Five generations including myself to be exact. I have tons of railroad tie date-nails. I have always heard they have good trade value. I was wondering if anyone on here knew anything about these nails. I have several nails members of my family and I have gathered through the years. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've always wanted a 1948 dated spike. Never been able to find one.

But the famous railroad dinning car items and RR watches, etc., can fetch some serious money.
