    Small Button or Snap?

    Here is a small button? I found recently. It came from a homestead circa 1868. It looks like it could be a snap. The back reads "Mills Military Fastners" There is also a symbol which looks like an arrowhead.
    Thanks for any help.

    indians, I think it may have come off a ww1 military snap pouch

    I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines.  I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.
