    no one seems to know



    I'm trying to clean house/organize and this one item seems to stump everyone. Yes, it's magnetic but what do it be?

    It looks like a melted tin to me. I've found melted aluminum that looked similiar, but since this one attracts a magnet, maybe it's tin. Is it heavy or fairly light? Breezie

    extremely heavy...and NOT a tin can top.

    *almost* looks like a railroad spike top...but not that either.

    well yeah, like from a bridge, BUT usually those are a bit more rounded or domed.
