Help Dragon!
I am hoping the experts can help me with this one:
I got this today at a yard sale. The folks said that their grand father had it in his family for a long time. It appears to be brass. It is approx 6 1/2" long X 2" tall X 2 1/2" wide. I can not locate any markings on this yet. I haven't seen any like this one on the internet. I am purely speculating when I say it's Chinese.
..Any one guess age or what it's for?
Much appreciate the experts great knowledge.

I'm thinking it's a dragon boot scraper. Do the tips of his horns on his back look as if they maybe scratched or worn more smoothly than the rest of him? Neat find, Breezie

It brings good luck. Happy 2012 - the year of the dragon. Keep it in the house for good feng shui.
