I dug this yesterday and have no clue as to what it is or shall I say what it was. on a whites machine it had a VDI of 78.

Silver?? Pewter? A first glance it appears to be an ornate, flattened spoon.

It looks like it might have been a decorative spoon from the 1950's. My grandmother had one very similar to it. There was a spoon and fork that hung on the wall. Hers even had the little dotted outline like that one.

I cleaned it up a bit with baking soda. Upon further review I do believe it is silver. Here is a pic of it cleaned. Thanks.
