Two buttons.

These were found by a friend. The eagle button has a brass back, but I could see no markings. The two star buttons are connected by a short length of chain; the backs are apparently steel as they have rusted badly. (They may be modern sweater buttons for all we know.) Any ideas on the identity or age of these?

The eagle button looks like a Union Infantry button.

could be for an overcoat or a winter cape!looks old to me!!
