Roman field - south central europe

What is this? It is hollow, 1cm in width at its widest. Not sure if the design is just design or perhaps year or legion number. It is a non-ferrous metal. Suggestions?

My only suggestion is that it doesn't look Roman to me.

My best guess right now is a spout for plumbing. Maybe lead. Water flows out of the straight end quite smoothly.
