Continental Army Camp Pewter Button - crusty - See anything?

I found this at a Continental Army encampment. Massachusettes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, NY and NH were there .

To me, it's like looking at clouds. IF I stare at it long enough, my eyes and imagination can make it match lots of different buttons.

Do you see anything familiar? Or is all that's left flaky cracked crust?

Sorry, but I'm loading up the pics. Different angles, as it dried, etc.

    Thanks!

TW, thought I saw something in the 3rd picture - but don't see it in the others.

In pic #8 I can "see" the "S" and part of the "A". Well if that button was mine, that's what I would be seeing. In pic #4, I see an angry deity throwing lightning bolts down from a cloud. A pewter button at a Rev War site is a cool find no matter what you see in it.

Thanks. I saw those letters too, but the orientation isn't right .
I never saw lightning bolts, but for one fleeting second I saw Porky Pig downing a beer.

It's strange .. Like you say it is like looking at the clouds. What I see is a sailing ship, similar to the comparison below:

That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.

Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.

Human decency is not derived from religion. It precedes it.

Einstein once said: "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."
