Scroll?

I found what appears to be a part of a pendant.? It's about an inch long and a quarter inch wide.? Made of solid non-ferrous metal, very heavy and painted to look likc a scroll.? White with a red ribbon painted around it.? I think it's at least gold plated on both ends. I have seen this same item before but can't remember where. I realize it's hard to? identify without a picture but my batteries are charging right now.? Also I found another weird item, several of them and can't figure out what they are used for.? Will post pics of both as soon as my batteries charge up.? JIM
