The White`s XLT is dated and a little heavy but is still a desirable machine,with your brother`s help it will make a good starter/keeper.

The XLT was my first detector. I am sure that it is one of Whites most successful.

It is a fast sweep machine, so keep that in mind while learning it.

Once you get it tuned to your soil, it is a great detector.
