XLT Spectrum?
Is there a difference between the XLT Spectrum (with all the pretty rainbow colors) and the XLT E-series? I found a Spectrum for $400....don't really need it, but will buy it if it's a decent deal....

Re: XLT Spectrum?
I believe the spectrum XLT is the older model. the E - Series is what they call all of them in that control box setup

Re: XLT Spectrum?
The guy says it is 4 years old and will go down to $375...good deal or just average price?

Re: XLT Spectrum?
what kind of shape is it in? do you have pictures or have you seen it?
I just checked on flea bay, they're selling for between 350-360
that's actually a little high. has it been sent in to whites for a once over
what kind of wear is on it.
imagine buying a new one and then decide how much wear and tear you can live with when looking at a used one
if possible, try it out to make sure it works. JMO

Re: XLT Spectrum?
He's asking $400 said he couldn't go lower than $375 and didn't seem to know a lot about it other than it was 4 years old, in great shape and an incredible detector...I think I'll pass....I don't need another one...only if it was an awesome deal. Thanks for all the help!

Re: XLT Spectrum?
It is VERY strange that an XLT sells for less than $420-450, even at fleabay. You only need to check prices there for "completed listings".

Re: XLT Spectrum?
Even the non e series go for close to $400, I got my e series for $440 with a padded case.
