Can anyone see the square in the middle of the pic? Do you think this may have been where a building once stood? I actually looked at this a couple of years ago and it was more pronounced. Anyway just wondering what you all think.

I think I see 2 different markings, one towards the back which is smaller, and one directly in front of it, which is larger. Or maybe I'm just losing my kind!

Could have been a building foundation or a wall of a fort maybe. I have seen similar images in other fields on google earth and thought the same thing. Being next to a river, made me think that maybe it was a fort for protection.

Once I enlarged the pic, I could see the square. I could only make out the lower left corner before. It is on the left side of the field, right?

Actually on closer examination, I see two outlines. The square is on the left side of the field and the rectangle touches it on the right side and extends to the right. The square extends beyond the rectangle in the rear (if the front faces the body of water).

not sure how much is due to Mowing ?

Unfortunately the Square I see appears to be too large to be a building .

the Rectangle, Rectangles I see appears to have less grass, this could be due to ground work,
or Rock Stratum ? (I think stratum is the correct word for it :dontknow: )

the most pronounced to my eyes isn't Square or rectangular & are marked in White

park pic.jpg

Oh & the Paw "shape" on left is Pronounced & odd

of course I could pick more & try to be funny :( but I'm sure your serious,
so I am also

I can see those things you outlinned too. The paw print could be a fighting position or old hand dug well. I tried to see something funny but missed it except I thought I saw an outline of a poodle.

I detected the area, however it has not been mowed lately. I found a couple memorial pennies. I believe that before it was a park this area had a couple of saw mills so maybe something related to that? Maybe if they get around to mowing I will give it another shot. They aren't even mowing around the river anymore in many areas around here, some new conservation program.
