I'm working in Malibu today off of decker canyon and mulholland hwy and see lots of geology that could lend itself to prospecting. I am by the la county Ventura border. Has anyone ever prospected or has heard of gold in the canyons in and around Malibu. Any help would be appreciated...
I've heard the lake Piru area is a good place to go prospecting. Well I am currently working on the mountain directly south of Piru and 126. Has anyone ever looked in the area that I'm at. It's called Oakridge and it's up Torrey Canyon Rd. I'm just looking for any tips some of you might have. Thanks
