CAVITE – Cavite City Fire Tragedy - Non-stop Heartbreaking tragic scenes. A blaze of fire broke out in an informal settlers compound in Barangay 22, Quadra, Cavite City, Philippines on Wednesday afternoon April 26, 2023. The blaze reached the third alarm. The fire affected hundreds of families and were left homeless, some of whom evacuated to a nearby school. The residential area made of light materials is still being closely monitored. So sad and painful to see it all collapse in just a snap.

Fire at Tondo’s Pritil Market reaches 4th alarm

MANILA, Philippines — A fire that is razing the Pritil Market in Tondo, Manila has been raised to the fourth alarm, the Manila Public Information Office (MPIO) said on Friday night.

According to the MPIO, the first alarm was raised at 10:43 p.m., the second alarm at 10:48 p.m., the third alarm at 10:49 p.m., and the fourth alarm by 11:14 p.m.

Pritil Market is located at the intersection of Juan Luna Street and Tayuman Street.
