Got to the bottom of my 12 or 13" hole this morning & I find silver, pretty sure, 1951 Belgie 20 F. OK so now where in the world is this coin from? Belgium? Any value beyond the silver value? I Betting not.

Found out the house I'm in was built or at least completed in 52, the coin being 51 & from Belgium makes me wonder if a construction worker fresh in from Belgium lost it during his work on the property here?

If I'm not mistaken, it's 8 g. of .835 silver (.2148 ASW). My reference is a bit old, but it doesn't appear to have any significant numismatic value beyond the silver content. However, I'd take a fifth of an ounce of silver any day...

Thank you Midwest! You are spot on it's only about $9 to $10 tops per what's been sold on ebay recently.
