Let my preface my post by stating that I know absolutely nothing about paper currency.

I stopped by my bank today to drop off some coins that I hunted through last weekend. The bank tellers know that I collect coins and one of them said that she had something I might be interested in (I figured she saved a couple silver dimes for me).

What she had was 6 old style $100 bills that someone had deposited earlier that day. I don't collect paper currency and I was somewhat disappointed. I told her that they sure look neat but I wasn't interested.

As I was driving back to the office something told me that I shouldn't have left those bills sitting in her drawer. I went back and the teller laughed when she saw me come through the door. She knew exactly why I came back.

So my question to you all is: What have I got?

1977 x 3
1974
1977 star
1969 star

They all look pretty good (to someone who has no idea how to grade currency).

Can I sell them or should I just spent them?

Thanks for your help.

Jeff

Thanks Don. I put the 1969 star note up on eBay. Looks like I'm going to make some money on that one.
