had time for a short hunt today and went to a different closer spot. the sixth pull tab turned into something sweet, at least it looked that way. I kept on, finding some clad, the little bling boot and butterfly, a key and the 2 inch ball hitch which looks to be still good. the wife found the bling ring and the dream tag. I found the 1st part of the Brodix plate in one area and then the other half about twenty feet away. the cool thing about the brodix plate for those that race, is I had worked there for 18 years and really wasn't expecting the find, especially since I didn't even know that they had made them. not being sure about it being gold, I did the acid test and it passed the 10k no problem but failed the 14k. this was my second ring find for the year as well as the 2nd gold ring. pretty cool! just a reminder, gotta dig those pull tabs to find the gold! no silver so far but that's okay, no one seems to be willing to wade thru the pull tabs which is good for me

I just noticed you are in Mena. I'm in FS. Does not seem to be many of us in the area.

totally surprised I assure you, the wife immediately grabbed it but alas it was too big for her fingers. I am just amazed at how much valuable stuff gets lost...it seems to be an ongoing process, this losing business but we are in the finding business and it seems to be pretty good right now. I am truly a very blessed man

camanddad, there are a lot more of us around here than you realize, unfortunately some don't seem to be using much common sense about filling their holes when they fill them at all

NICE! Your on board the gold train this year! Congrats!

Now it's the wife's turn to find the yellow bling!

Glad you guys can dig there, we are frozen out and buried by snow.

I have seen one guy in one park in here in the last 3 years, and that was last Oct.

oh not retiring the AT, but it will be interesting to go over some of my spots with the deus. the wife is excited, plus she will be wireless to boot. and thanks Tom. was kind of busy today but still was asked by a local farmer to come search for two lost items on his farm as well as permission to hunt the whole place, will go by next week to let the place dry up a little. pretty cool. thanks all for looking
