Went out today for my first hunt using the 600. Used Field 1 and 2, dug everything and learned a lot. Shotgun shells ring up in the 12-13 range and a very small piece of steel rang up as a 10. I wanted to hear all the iron and found an old 24 oz ball peen hammer and horse shoe. Not the best hunt but my first using the Equinox 600. Looking forward to learning more about the machine.

I just got a Nox 600 a few weeks ago and found out it's an absolute coin monster! You're gonna love it!

Give it time and enjoy the ride. Can't expect to come out of the gate with marvelous finds. I had to face that realization a bit myself. New detector is like buying a new pair of shoes. Takes you time to break them in and get used to how they feel.
In time you will either love it or hate it but you have to give yourself time. As experience has shown me so far, metal detectors and people are akin to people and cars-it takes a special connection.
