Went hunting with my Don in Brewster today in "the old park".

Turned out to be a nickel kind of a day. I have not found a shield or a V nickel yet and I've been determined to find one of them. Not photographing the Jefferson nickels, I did manage to find 4 buffalo nickels and finally my first V nickel which is pretty toasted. Nevertheless still a cool find check it off my list, I believe the date is 1891 but I could be wrong.

I also managed to find a pretty toasted Indianhead I will let it soak in Olive oil for a couple weeks see if I can get a date out of it.

I had a nice sweet high wobble tone, pretty deep around 1343 1344 and it ended up being this nice chunky 925 silver earring or pendant, not really sure but I don't think it's a ring.

The last two photos is of a coin that was very deep, looks like a foreign coin, not sure where it's from but it has a number 10 on the back and I believe a flower. I will let this soak in Olive oil unless someone else has some ideas on how to clean it.

I also found a musket-ball and a 38 bullet.

Overall good day in the misty rain, found lots of quarters, gotta dig those up just in case it's silver. Enjoy the photos and happy hunting.

Your mystery coin is a Italian 10 Centesmi piece 1919-37. Nice finds, old nickels are better than zinclons. Bee and a flower.

I dream of a day like you had. Awesome finds. That looks like a very good park. Which detector were you using?
