Some of my interesting findings so far are below. I have found:

2,113 pre-1960 dated coins... so that's 21.13 per box of 2,000 or 1 every 95 coins.
79 Silver War Nickels... so that's 1 in every 1.27 boxes or 1 every 2,532 coins.
30 Buffalo nickels... so that's 1 every 3.33 boxes, or 1 every 6,667 coins.
14 Proof Nickels... so that's 1 every 7.14 boxes, or 1 every 14,286 coins.
9 Key Date Jeffersons... so that's 1 every 11.11 boxes, or 1 every 22,222 coins.
2 V nickels... so that's 1 every 50 boxes, or 1 every 100,000 coins.

Here's my spreadsheet with the complete breakdown... only missing that pesky 1950-D Jefferson in terms of completing that set... 200K nickels results.jpg

So you're finding War Nickels at a slightly lower rate than me... If you take out the CWR score you had, and the 14 proof roll you had, your Buffalo, V, and Proof stats nearly mirror mine. Pretty cool. Thanks!
Pretty amazing how aligned the stats are. My latest move really slowed down the penny and nickel finds. Dimes and halves are about the same. Quarters are better and IKE's are non-existent here.

Very interesting... sorry that your latest move has hurt your nickel and cent finds... I only occasionally stumble on Ikes.

Not worried at all. I've had way, way more luck finding coins than anyone could expect. A slow year on nickels and pennies I can live with. Plus I've done a lot better finding arrowheads. I'd trade that for a handful of war nickel any day of the week. Since I've moved I've only found 16 war nickels out of 46 boxes. Pretty slim pickin's. I used to have a bank that would order IKE's and I averaged over a silver a bag. It was fun while it lasted.
