Found in a quarter roll today. I am confused. I have never seen a w mint mark. Heard of them, but never seen them. On the front it has something else. It says V75 over liberty.

Odd, so I kept it.

Since only 2 million were minted ,you have a great find. West Point minted 2 million of the five quaarters minted in 2019 and 2020.so keep looking for the rest.

Keep it for sure it will always have value with a limited mintage. They made silver and gold eagles as well with the privy mark. But you won't find those in change.

I just noticed something.

Lower light.

Might be an illusion, but there may be doubling.

Regardless, it’s a keeper.

I think those are the initials "JF" in the last picture. I have been lucky enough to find 2 "W" quarters but they are both the same quarter I wish I had found a different quarter to try and make a set. That privy mark makes your quarter very cool.

You have a Wier farm, which was the first design minted of the lot.

In addition, it is 2 million W V75 per design ...so with 5 designs, that is 10 million...

The initials JF stand for John Flanagan who was the original designer of the Washington Quarter when it was first released in 1932

Thank you all for the compliments. I appreciate it.

Just for clarification, @xaos, there are only 2 million of this specific quarter, but 10 million W quarters total? Am I understanding you correctly?
