Afternoon fellow CRHers. I picked up my usual 2 boxes of halves after work. While i was there, i asked for $10 in cents. The teller breaks out some older customer rolls to sell to me. My eyes fixed right away on those older rolls. Checked out a roll in my vehicle and saw nothing but copper cents and several wheats. Went back in and bought the rest that she had($2.50 worth). She said an older couple brought a whole box of coins in. I asked about other denominations but, what do you know, she had none left. ;D
The halves only had 1 silver half between the 2 boxes but it was a good one, a 1929-D that i would grade VG. The mintage is only 1,001,200.
I returned 2 bags to my dump bank and asked for a box of nickels. This branch has no trouble selling me boxes despite the fact i drop off bags there. Opened it and saw a buffalo ender(no date).
Going to go through the cents 1st, then i'll start that nickel box. Let you know the results after i finish. Thanks for reading. HH-MM2

I've had old CWRs but not that old looking as the Woolworth. Mine were the age of your other CWRs. I bought $10 originally and got a wheatie. I then bought $10 more and they were mostly AU copper. I asked for even more next time, but they had no more. That was my best CWR score before my average 5 wheats per $10 CWR store bank (10 mi from me)

Update: Checked the cent rolls. 100% copper, nothing after 1975. Some of the 70s cents looked like they came right from the mint, full mint luster. Surprising low number of wheats(32) which were mostly 40s and 50s with the exception of a 1920 grading Fine and 1 Canadian cent(1961)
On to the nickels. Thanks for your comments and for looking. MM2

Thanks. Finished the nickel box. The buffalo was a tease, it was the only one in the box. There were, however, 2 war nickels(44-D,45-D),a 1938,1939,a nice handful of 40s and 50s and my best find out of the box, a nice 39-S. Thanks for reading, MM2
