got out with Brent this morning and tried a couple of private yards that gave up some goodies. I dug a couple of nice Indians including a Fatty 1862 and a pretty nice 1868 too. The civil war store card was a nice surprise since we had just been talking about finding one on the way there. Also dug the ugliest LC ever, smashed, hammered and holed....but I'll take it. Lots of fun relics. Two out of the three cars are Lesney's . The silver quarter was my first find of the day and was the only silver coin I dug all day. I did manage a nice little sterling ring too. Thanks for looking all HH, Griff

Holy Toledo! - I think that's a $100 '68 IH there - those are sweet! Nice score on the token too, and silver. The Pabst tin is really interesting, any idea what it is? Congrats on the excellent digs J!

Thanks D. I think the Pabst thing is an old lighter. Both the old Indians were less than a foot apart, most likely lost together....and now found together :) From one persons pocket to another's 150 years later. Love it. Also the combination lock has a bullet hole and found the shell casing right next to it.

Thanks Anne. The big Indian is a pin. The back is still attached. It has some paint left on it and looks like it might of had feathers or something as well.

Wow. Those indians look absolutely amazing! What did you use use to clean them up...if anything?

Pabst lighter rocks as well. Love the Albion Token. My sister graduated from Albion College. I wonder is "Albion Commercial College" was a former name for it?

I checked out that token. "Albion Commercial College" was a business college not affiliated with the current Albion College.

Just letting you know it was different than the present college.

Awesome digs bro! - Indians are beautiful :headbang: -Congrats on the key date and I've never seen a Fatty come out of the ground in that good of shape. That local CW token is way cool. Nice score on the relics too - Love the dog tag. A Largie is a Largie - that mug counts! Great getting out with ya - was alot of fun!!

Wow! Postalgriff you have so many things going on here & "lots of fun relics" is an understatement. IH's are awesome but what is that case with the crown on it, looks quite interesting. Awesome digs all around!

thanks! The little thing with the crown I think is a pill case. its kinda falling apart, had a small chain attached and a small vent hole on the bottom, but no markings other than the crown.
