A Colonial Flat Button

I went out for a couple of hours to do some detecting after 3 days of rain. I was in all metals mode and got a faint signal. At the bottom of the 6" hole was this awesome colonial flat button. Having a hard time identifying the back mark. Any help would be appreciated.

I know what you mean, I'm doing the same with my flat buttons ..driving myself nuts trying to date them some how. there has to be some guide or something online but I cant find it.
