Nice ones. I believe I'd have to type the So. Ga. piece as a Citrus due to the tips of the ears being slanted.


Also, Is it made of Bay Bottom Chert?
I see what you’re saying, I believe it’s a Hernando that was a little roughed up. You may be right though. I don’t believe it’s bay bottom. Would be cool if it was though, I haven’t seen much bay bottom north of ocala.

Those Hernando's are killer. I don't think it's baybottom either. Here's a baybottom chert point I found many years ago when I lived in Hillsborough County. Sorry the pictures aren't better.

Nice group of points. You have some great artifacts. You can see the Ga. Hernando is a little different than the Florida ones in both material & shape. I notice that in most points from Ga. Newnan, Marions, etc are all a little different than their Florida counterparts. Usually the Ga. material is a little rougher too.
