On July 27, 2012, I picked up $400 in dimes and $300 in quarters from one of my favorite banks, and another $200 in dimes from another of my favorite banks. All rolls were customer wrapped. I found three silver dimes (1951, 1957D, and 1965 Canada) and one silver quarter (1934) from the first bank, and three silver dimes (1917, 1961D, and 1962D) from the second bank. The 1917 dime and 1934 quarter are both the oldest coins I have found in their respective denominations. I have now found 51 silver dimes (US only) out of $6735 searched (one per $132 searched), and 3 silver quarters out of $4380 searched (one per $1460 searched). My success rate with quarters has improved dramatically as I have found all three silver quarters in the past two months.

Nice finds. Do you prefer cwr? My banks usually don't have too many. Search them when I can but mostly do mwr.

Thanks. I have never had good luck with mwr in my area. It can be difficult sometimes to find cwr, but I have found some small regional banks that usually have a good supply each weekend.
