Ancient Tudor Rose button? +Royal Navy?

Not sure what to make of these two finds. One I believe is a Royal Navy button (no idea how old it is). And the other looks like the pattern of the English Tudor Rose. Tudors are 16th century, so not sure what this button is doing in New Jersey.

Any button experts, please chime in [emoji4]

First button is late 19th C Royal Navy (British)

The other looks the same date & has no connection with the Military.
