I hit 4 beaches today not a ton of targets at any of them at the first beach I managed a 1946 Roosevelt dime and a softball medallion along with about $2 in clad and a typical amount of trash. The next beach had too much sand I only found 2 coins and a spoon. The third beach had too much sand as well nothing remarkable there so I went back to the beach were I got the gold bangle the other night and after what felt like digging 10 pounds of lead I finally manage a platinum ring as well as a silver ring. Probably only 10 coins from this beach today none old.

The platinum band is .429 ozt

Nice score. Sounds like you were in the zone with all that lead. What kind of markings show that band is platnium? Ive never seen one, how can you tell?

Hello Lisarez66, Platinum is typically marked PLAT inside the band. Platinum is also quite heavy compared to white gold. Platinum is most commonly .950 fine. Good Luck finding some soon.
