I got back to the location where I found the broad axe last weekend, the finds today came from one corner of the field. The town site is about 50 plus acres, I wish I had a map of the town, so I guess I will have to find my way around the field to locate glass and broken china. The lock is kinda cool, the lever still moves freely, the ring is brass I think, but still a cool find all the same. The coins are not that old but I will take them, the 5 cent grades at maybe fine, there is some ware on the hair, but still it is silver. I am off tomorrow to another barn site, a friend of mine is building a new addition to the one he has now, they have been finding old glass and bottles, maybe I will find some metallic? I will post anything I find if worth doing so. IMG_0027.JPG

Pretty good. Always love the fishscales! A couple of nice large cents and a padlock. Nice little hunt.

Great stuff. Here's an excellent site if you want to research your padlock: antique-padlocks.com. Congrats! -Lisa & John
