I went back to my newest treasure hunting place. The river! This is were I found the old mill. Looks like long after the mill was abandoned, people started using it as a dumping ground. All I had to do was take my shovel, pull it through the muck and listen for the clink of glass. Up came a nice 7-Up bottle than another, and other. And a nice milk glass pharmaceutical jar, and a wooden cork, and part of a wooden pipe. While the muck is hard to search and smells like old farts, it seems to preserve everything very well. And also, is the pipe a good piece? Some people need some convincing.:laughing7:

Nice finds.

I love digging up old stuff. That 7UP bottle is in great shape. They type is usually scratched or worn off.

I found two nice old Coke bottles last year that cleaned up really nice. That's the beauty of glass.
