Nice Find! I actually have 2. Both found at the same site. One is quite large and the other slightly smaller. About a year ago, I saw one one EBAY that sold for about $50. I hope this helps. Hogge It's a nice addition to a shadow box or your private collection. Congrats.

These are actually 19th Century harness buckles although often sold as 18th Century on ebay. They are found on Revolutionary War sites do to later activity such as farming and logging.
