benedict & burnham button

[mixed signals]

Got out a couple hours tonight. I didnt get alot only a 1919 wheat,a dateless buffalo and the benedict button. If my info is correct the button is from 1834-1843 and still has a little color left on the back. The face of it is smooth but still a neat find.

Pretty cool, I found one recently as well. Apparently they hold up very well over time. Mine has a lot of the original gold gilting left on it as well. Very sweet to find 160-180 year old buttons still in great condition! Congrats
