blue specimen

Years ago we inherited a relative's rock & jewelry making collection. I came across this piece recently & was wondering if anyone could identify it. It has been cut, but I don't have the slab. The specimen is about 2.75" x 1.5" x 2".

Looks like azurite, with turquoise and associated minerals.

Thank you, Kray. That makes sense. The collector spent winters with the other snowbirds in the desert north of Yuma back in the 1960's.
